The City of Morro Bay Water Reclamation Facility Program will replace the City’s existing wastewater treatment plant with an advanced water purification facility that will meet state regulations, protect the environment, and contribute a safe and reliable water source for Morro Bay’s homes and businesses. The project will create a drought buffer and is capable of providing up to 80 percent of the City’s water needs in the future.
The Morro Bay Water Reclamation Facility is a responsive website that hosts a library of documents and tools for monitoring construction progress. It integrates and organizes a complex bundle of information covering news about road closures, project details and city updates.
This project also involved SEO, frequent reports on site analytics and Google Search Console. Opponents of the project were garnering attention with their own negative news, but over time we were able to overtake and outrank them.
